PRO6 launched the Christmas Tree of Hope

Police Regional Office 6 launched the Christmas Tree of Hope on December 16, 2019 at PRO6 Multi-Purpopse Hall. This is an annual partnership with ABS-CBN.

The proceeds of this project will be used for “Kapamilya Fiesta sa Paskua”, an annual christmas party and gift giving for the less fortunate children in Iloilo City.

This activity brings joy and shares blessings to the Kapamilyas this Yuletide Season.

Bingawan now drug-cleared, opens Bahay Silangan

On December 20, 2019 at 9:00AM, PLTCOL VICTORINO E ROMANILLOS JR, OIC, RCADD and PMAJ BENJO E CLARITE, Asst Chief, RID attended the Launching of Balay Silangan and the Declaration of the Municipality of Bingawan, Province of Iloilo as “Drug Cleared Municiplaity”. In attendance are the ff: Alex M Tablate, MDM, OIC, PDEA RO6, Chairman Regional Oversight Committee (ROC) Hon Mark Palabrica, Muncipial Mayor, the Municipal Council headed by Hon Ted Peter Plagata, Vice Mayor, Mr Francis Oliver Ortiz, LGOO V, DILG R6, Ms Liza Marie Saludes, DMO III, DOH 6, Ms Genefer Sabio, MLGOO Bingawan, PCAPT GETMAN MAGBANUA, CO, 603nd MFC, RMFB6, PLT JERRY HENRY GOTERA, OIC, Bingawan MPS and the 14 Punong Barangays of the Municipality of Bingawan with their respective Barangay Kagawads.

The Municipality of Bingawan is the 6th town to be declared as such in Western Visayas, the other five are the Municipalites of Miag-ao, Guimbal, Igbaras, Dingle and Passi City.

The declaration of the “Drug Cleared” status of the Municiplaity of Bingawan came about as a result of the assessment and validation of the ROC, pertinent to the full compliance on the parameters set forth in Section 8 of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Regulation No 3, Series of 2017.

PRO6 AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

GIVE FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES

November 30, 2019– PRO6 spearheads the Peace, Law Enforcement and Development Support (PLEDS) Cluster Medical and Dental Mission at Hacienda Fe, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.

1,400 beneficiaries availed of the services from doctors, dentist and nurses of the PNP, AFP and LGU. 988 of the beneficiaries are NPA surrenderees which is the primary target of the activity.

This activity was joined by PBGEN RENE PAMUSPUSAN, RD PRO6, BGEN BENEDICT AREVALO, Commander, 303rd BDE PA, PCOL ROMEO A BALEROS, PD NOCPPO, DR. MA. AZUNCION R PAMUSPUSAN, MR. JESSIE BERMISO, 1st District Chief of Staff of CONGRESSMAN office
San Carlos City and HON. MELECIO J YAP, City Mayor of Escalante.

Further, other services such as free haircut with massage, free Issuance of Police Clearance, free issuance of NBI Clearance, Story telling/feeding program were also held during the said activity.

This initiative is to bring the government closer to the people as part of the Regional Task Force Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict 6.
