A total of 100 newly appointed police officers of Police Regional Office 6 take their oath afternoon of January 30 (Thursday) at Camp Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City.
Police Brigadier General Rene P Pamuspusan, PRO6 Director administered their oath of Office. “we will return them to you as a disciplined and refined gentlemen” Pamuspusan said to the families of the recruits.
The 100 police officers, 81 from them are males and 19 are all females, will fill up the PRO6 Attrition Quota for the 2nd Semester 2019.
1, 063 applicants applied online but only 100 hurdled the stages of screening. The filing of application started on October 2019 followed by other stages such as: physical Fitness Test, Neuro examination and interview and complete background investigation, Medical examination and General Physical Examination. This is to ensure that they are all fit and ready for six (6) months of training at the Regional Training Center 6 located in Bakyas, Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
Reception rites followed after the oath taking ceremony. The tradition of the PNP to prepare the newbies physically and give them insights on what to expect in the training center. The reception is just a beginning, removing civilian antiques of the recruits and let them enhance a regimented world were all moves should be within the ambit of the mandates of the Philippine National Police.
Present during the activities are the loved ones of the newbie police officers.
